This will be a High Stakes tournament hosted in partnership with PYRS for teams to have a final tournament.

This event is a scrimmage and does not qualify to any other events.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified at their registered email address in the event of a schedule disruption, change, or cancellation. Please join our Slack if you have not already we will post there as well. 

Refund and Payment Policies

Cancelation: Teams can cancel with 2 week notice. Teams that cancel with less than 2 week notice, will be billed for the full cost of the event if the waitlist is exhausted and your spot is empty. Holding spots to the 2-week mark is discouraged and being tracked so please try to inform us of drops as soon as possible so we can give the spot to another team. [email protected]

Under limited circumstances PYRS will review on a case-by-case basis. 

Payment Methods: Cheque payable to Pacific Youth Robotics Society or Cash. Please try your best to bring payment on the day off. Do not pay on Robotevents.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
