Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Pikes Peak Robotics Weather Policy

Pikes Peak Robotics is committed to providing consistent opportunities for student engagement through our robotics events. As such, we make every effort to hold scheduled events—even during inclement weather—unless conditions make it absolutely necessary to cancel.

Please note the following:

  • Event Status: Our events will typically proceed as scheduled, even when schools or other organizations in the area may be closed. We have only had one weather-related cancellation in our history, and it was called by the district.

  • Safety First: We strongly encourage coaches, teams, and families to make decisions based on their own local conditions and comfort levels. If travel is unsafe from your location, please prioritize safety.

  • Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for teams unable to attend due to weather-related concerns. Refunds will only be considered if the event itself is officially cancelled by Pikes Peak Robotics or the hosting district.

We appreciate your understanding and partnership in ensuring both the safety and success of our events.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: The full payment will be refunded

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No Refunds
