General Info
Champ's Classic will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in the MAC Building.
- This event is open to both EASTERN AND WESTERN PA VEX V5RC TEAMS.
- There will be TWO 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship Qualifying Awards - High School Excellence and Middle School Excellence.
- To participate on March 15, a team must have participated in either the Eastern or Western PA State Championships in 2025.
- The Eastern PA Championships should and will be the #1 priority for teams from that region. If any team can not be confirmed as a particpant in their Finals through Robotevents they will be removed from Champ's Classic.
There is ZERO CHARGE for registering for this event. There will be a $150 NO-SHOW FEE that will be assessed if you register and do not show up. Registration spots are limited and valuable.
- All Engineering Notebooks MUST be submitted DIGITALLY by MIDNIGHT on SATURDAY, MARCH 8, 2025.
A Digital Welcome Package was emailed to all coaches on 3/8.

Agenda
Our goal is to have a well-run and enjoyable event for all teams, volunteers, and spectators involved. Eight (8) Qualifying matches per team is our goal.
TEAM INSPECTIONS ARE GOING TO BE A CRITICAL PART OF THE DAY. Inspections will be from 8:30AM-9:30AM. If a robot is not inspected by 9:30, that team will not be included in the match schedule.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Student safety will be our #1 priority. We will communicate weather related concerns and planning in communications the week prior to the event.
The reality of this event is that it is a state-level event which means some teams will undoubtedly experience inclement weather.
We will be flexible with start times and the agenda to execute this event on Saturday, March 15 unless safety dictates otherwise.
Refund and Payment Policies
Thank you Thaddeus Stevens and II4T in assisting us in providing this event at NO CHARGE for our schools.
There will be a $150 NO-SHOW FEE for any team not attending. The Event Partner will have final discretion on waiving that fee.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
