Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

Four skills fields are available in two hour blocks with two teams sharing the time to make their three driving and three coding skills challenge attempts. The first 30 minutes of the block is for setup and other last minute pit needs. The remaining 90 minutes are for the challenge attempts.

The available time blocks are 8:30 am - 10:30 am; 10:00 am - 12:00 pm; 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm; and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. When signing up, teams can choose between fields on the floor in the gym or elevated fields in the hallway.

The blocks will be available for sign up on Wednesday, January 15 at 12:00 pm. The link will be emailed to all registered teams at that time.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that nature or some unforeseen circumstance cancels our event, due to the late timing in the schedule and other conflicts we will be unable to reschedule before state qualifiers. We will attempt to reschedule after the Region 5 state tournaments. There are no circumstances where refunds will be given.
