General Info
Gold Ragnarok will feature a 32-team High School division and a 16-team Middle School division, with an option for a waitlist of up to 60 teams. If there is insufficient middle school participation to form a separate division, we will integrate middle school teams into the high school event, organizing two divisions of up to 30 teams each. We plan for this event to serve as a qualifying competition.
This invitational event will be open only to teams who have not qualified for the Platinum event and have competed in at least two other events. Since most middle school teams are invited to the Platinum Division, we will set a cutoff skills score of 20 to determine eligibility for the Gold Division; middle school teams with a skills score above 20 will not be eligible.
The Oregon Ragnarok Gold Division will be held at the North Salem High School gyms on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Later start time is due to time restrictions for setup. To allow sufficient time for setup, the tournament will have a slightly later start than usual. Skills will open as soon as we have a field set up, with scores recorded on paper until the tournament and additional fields are fully assembled. This approach allows us to open skills early, allowing students to get their runs in before the event Ideally starting around 8:30 am.
