General Info

Chapin High School is exicted to be hosting their first V5RC tournament of the year!

There will be two competition fields, one skills and one practice field available.

Door will be open by 7:15 and check in will begin at 7:30AM sharp.  In order to stay aligned with our agenda, teams need to be checked in and one hour before the first match begins.  Please contact us if you are running late but are still planning on attending so that possible arrangements can be made.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event must be canceled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled for the next acceptable date.

No refunds.

No team swaps two weeks before the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Teams will be given a choice of moving to another event sponsored by the Event Partner, or a refund minus $5 will be provided.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:Partner will do their best to accommodate moving the team to another event they are hosting. Event Partner will only allow for one date change. 

 

 

Judging Format

 

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
