Franklin Road Academy welcomes you to our fifth annual tournament. Shadow Showdown!
- The event will be open to 32 high school Tennessee VRC teams.
- If the event is full, add your team/s to the waitlist. We will contact you if a spot opens.
- Both Driving and Programming Skills Challenges are open to all registered teams.
- A campus map, parking information, pit/skills/competition layout, and other information will be provided closer to the tournament date.
RECF Consent Form
- Participants will be required to submit the RECF Consent Form ONLINE before the tournament.
- Paper forms will not be accepted.

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

- No prior experience is necessary! Training will be provided Saturday morning before the meet begins.

- FREE snacks and meals are provided to all volunteers.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, updates will be made by email.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
In the event that the EP cancels, refunds (minus the 5 USD RECF processing fee) will be honored
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will not be issued for teams that register but choose not to come.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
