General Info
Welcome to Hartselle, Alabama, the City of Southern Hospitality! The Hartselle Tiger Tournament will be held at Hartselle Junior High School in the Petty Center, behind the main school building. The concession stand will be ready with hot food and cold drinks.
There will be 3 fields, two for matches and one for skills challenges. We hope you will join us for an exciting day!

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled if possible. If at all possible, we will try to host the next day if the weather and conditions allow for it.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
In the event of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled if possible. If the Event Partner cancels for any reason other than weather, a refund will be offered minus the $5 REC Foundation keeps.
If the event is rescheduled due to weather, a refund will not be offered due to the cost incurred to host the compeition. If at all possible, we will try to host the next day if the weather and conditions allow for it.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If a team's coach cancels, a refund will not be available due to the cost incurred to host the competition.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
