Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of severe inclement weather or other emergency the event partner will coordinate with the school district and building administrators to decide as early as possible about any potential delay or cancellation of the event.

Any delay or cancellation will be posted on the RobotEvents.com website and the event host will contact by text/email all attending teams as early as possible.

The tentative reschedule date is TBD

Refund and Payment Policies

 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

In the event of severe inclement weather or other emergency resulting in the postponing of the event the event partner will attempt to reschedule. If the new event date is not available then a full refund of the portion of the registration fee received by the event partner will be issued via check.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will only be issued to teams requesting registration cancellation at least 4 WEEKS before the event AND if the spot is filled with another team.

Please note: all refunds will be less the $5.00 fee retained by RECF. 

Refund requests for any reason other than event cancellation must be received by February 1, 2025 in writing or email.  All refund requests will be contingent upon a new team replacing the withdrawn team. All refunds will be issued via check.

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews:Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally for evaluation found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
