All events are in Panther Hall, the large building with the clock tower when you first enter campus. Please see the agenda for the complete itinerary.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

* Teams are strongly encouraged to complete all Skills runs during this time. Because of our venue size, Skills is not available during Qualifying Matches. Your robot must remain in line to secure your spot.

** Preordered pizzas may be picked up from concessions. Individual slices will be available at concessions, while supplies last.  

*** If running behind schedule, then Qualifying Matches will run through lunch and Skills will be unavailable.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

There are no snow dates available for this event. We will let teams know as soon as possible about snow closures.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

In the event of an event cancellation, team registrations will be refunded, minus a $5 administrative free retained by RECF.  

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Any other refunds due to extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis. It is expected that teams utilize the RobotEvents system to handle event payments prior to attending the event. No-show teams are still responsible for submitting their registration fees. 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Engineering notebooks must be submitted by Wednesday, January 8, at 11:59 p.m.
