General Info

Arrival:

  • Enter through Door 31.
  • Bus and parking available in lot .
  • Student waivers must be completed online.
  • Check in immediately upon entry.
  • Engineer’s Notebooks submitted at Check-in.
  • Competition Arena located in the Field House.
  • Team Pits located in the field house. Power will be provided as much as possible, but feel free to bring your own power strips
  • Concessions available. (Breakfast and Lunch items.)
  • Facility is ADA accessible.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

7:30 AM              Doors Open & Registration

7:45-8:45            Inspection, and Practice (Practice open on all Competition fields)

8:45-9:00            Drivers meeting, Announcements and Introductions

9:00-9:10            Opening Ceremony and National Anthem

9:15-12:00 PM    Qualification Matches and Skills Challenge

12:00-12:30        Lunch (Please visit our concession stand or Order Pizzas!)

12:30-3:00          Qualification Matches and Skills Challenge

3:00-3:30            Alliance Selection

3:30-5:00            Elimination Matches and Championship

5:00-5:20            Awards and Closing Ceremony

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com

Coaches, will be notified by email in the event of a cancellation.  where I will post updates about the event status as needed in the General description.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be provided minus REC fees

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds will be provided. 

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
