General Info

Please park in the front parking lot, accessible from Whispering Sands Dr (westbound only) and from Buffalo Dr (both north and south bound). and use the main enterence at the front of the school by the bull statue. 

Team pits are in the cafateria, and the tournament will be in the main gym.

On-site concessions and pizza will be available for purchase at lunch.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

7:15AM - 8:15 AM     Doors open, inspection and registration begins

8:15AM - 8:30 AM     Welcome & Drivers meeting

8:45AM - 12:00PM    Qualifying matches, Judges interview, and Skills matches 

12:00PM - 1:00PM    Lunch (Food will be available for purchase to support the Arbor View Robotics Club)

1:00PM - 3:00PM     Qualifying matches

1:00PM - 2:30PM     Judges interview, and Skills matches 

3:15-3:30 Alliance selections 

3:30-2:45 Break 

3:45 Elimination matches begin


Awards will take place immediately following the final elimination match.

Schedule subject to change. Pay attention to what match is currently being played, and pay attention to announcements in pits and at the fields.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Cancelations due to emergencies or bad weather will be communicated by email as quickly as possible.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds will be given as quickly as possible, minus the $5 proccessing fee charged by Robot Events

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be provided (barring extenuating circumstances with documentation).

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
