General Info

Welcome to the Robertson County MS/HS VEX V5RC Robotics Tournament.  We are excited to host a new V5RC tournament to be held in Springfield, TN and look forward to seeing new and returning teams this year.

Coaches and registered teams will be contacted closer to the event with details on directions, parking, and more.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that a team has an emergency or issues with weather, please call Stephanie Murrell on the day of at 615.797.8164.

If inclement weather necessitates a change in event status, that information will be reflected on the general information tab of this event and an email will go out to all registered teams and coaches.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: If the event is cancelled and cannot be postponed, then a full refund minus $5 processing fee will be issued once the EP has received all funds from the REC Foundation.​


If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  Registered teams may request a refund up to 2 weeks prior to the event.  After that time, no refunds will be offered.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
