General Info
VEX V5 "HIGH STAKES" SKILLS @ RMS is a Blended event, Middle and High School Teams teams are welcome!
Registration Information
- All participating teams must be registered with VEX Robotics and the Robot Events website and have an official team number before registering for this event.
- Tournament fees must be paid by Feb.15, Unpaid teams will be placed on a waiting list.
- Registration and payments should be made through the Robot Events website.
Participation and Consent Form
- A completed form for all participants must be uploaded to robotevents.com prior to the tournament. Team leaders will need to check that all team members attending the event have completed the online consent form prior to the tournament.

Competition Preparation
- All teams should come prepared for competition, and Robots "Inspection ready" Pre-ispect your robot, click on V5RC High Stakes Inspection Sheet
- Review all the documents attached: Code of Conduct, Student Centered Policy, etc.: Click on "Documents" on the menu.
- Review the V5RC High Stakes Game Manual
- Bring a 10 ft (or longer) extention cord for charging.
- An email will be sent to all coaches with detailed information about this event.
Lunch and Concessions
- Lunch and snacks will be available during the tournament offered by RMS PTA.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Coaches will be notified by email if event should be cancelled due to bad weather or other emergency.
Refund and Payment Policies
- Per the RobotEvents.com fee structure, $5.00 of each registration is used by their organization for processing and is not refundable.
- Refunds will be issued in the cases of an event cancellation.
- No refunds will be issued if a Coach/Mentor completes registration, but chooses to withdraw or not attend.
- No refunds will be issued to "no show" teams.
- Tournament fees must be paid by Feb.15, Unpaid teams will be placed on a waiting list.
Judging Format
- No Notebook Judging.
- No Interviews.
