General Info
Wasco Union Elementary School District is excited to host the first Wasco Winter Classic, a VEX V5 Robotics Competition middle school tournament for the 2024-25 season. The event will be open to 32 middle school teams. This event will be limited to three teams per organization. Once the event is full, a waiting list will be created for teams who were unable to register. This waiting list will also be available for you to sign up additional teams, but precedence will be given to schools/organizations that are not yet registered.
Food trucks will be available on site as well as a snackbar ran by the middle school ASB.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Tournament will cancel only due to a natural disaster.
The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date in their RobotEvents.com account, and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: The Event Partner will refund the fee minus $5.
50% refund after November 29th
No refund after December 6th.

We are located just North of Bakersfield, California. The Palm Avenue Middle School gym is located off Peter St. and Krista St.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
