General Info
Welcome to Madison Match VRC event. All Registered VEX Middle School and High School teams are welcome to attend. You must have a team registration license # and both red and blue license plates to compete. Make sure your event registration is paid for on robotevents.com or will not be able to compete.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda
ALL TEAMS must check in with the event partner / scoring table by-9:30AM so that we can accurately print the tournament match schedule. Please plan on arriving early to get through the inspection process and be prepared to begin on-time. Coaches-- If you are delayed arriving the morning of the tournament, please call and let us know.

* depending on how "on-time" we start, match cycle times, etc., we may optionally run through lunch. Please be flexible and able to break for lunch or run through it, as conditions outside of our control often dictate one vs the other.
Volunteer
We would love to have volunteers help with our event, even if you have no experience with VEX Robotics Competitions. We can train you if you are interested. We need judges to score matches, interview teams, score engineering notebooks, an MC to announce the competitions, and others to help manage the match. Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If your team is delayed or cannot attend the event due to an emergency, please contact Ron Call. In the event there is inclement weather, please check the event General Information for updates or email Ron Call at [email protected].
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Checks for refunds will be issued to registered teams.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refunds of registration fees will be issued.
Judging Format
In-Person Judging with Remote Engineering Notebooks- The Team Interviews will be judged in-person the day of the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents by December 7th.
