Welcome to the Coalfield Conference VRC Qualifier at WVUTech! We are proud to partner with this school that has earned a number of awards for top small engineering schools in the nation. 

All judging will be conducted in-person on the day of the event.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer

Please contact Jo Frost at [email protected] for more information on volunteering. You will have to pass a Children on Campus volunteer training which will qualify you to volunteer with students across the university system. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will contact your team contact as soon as possible if inclement weather is happening. Please ensure that information is up to date.  If public school is cancelled on 2/7/2024, then for safety reasons, the tournament hosts will be obligated to cancel the tournament. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: no refunds are available. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refunds are available.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges
