General Info
All V5RC teams are welcome to attend! This will a great event with plenty of seating for spectators!
All teams must check in with the event partner / scoring table by-9:30AM so that we can accurately print the tournament match schedule. Please plan on arriving early to get through the inspection process and be prepared to begin on-time. Coaches-- If you are delayed arriving the morning of the tournament, please call and let us know.

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

* depending on how "on-time" we start, match cycle times, etc., we may optionally run through lunch. Please be flexible and able to break for lunch or run through it, as conditions outside of our control often dictate one vs the other.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Weather cancellations will be determined by the school at 3pm the day before the tournament and coaches will be notified by e-mail.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be given if cancelations occur one week before the event, excluding the $5 REC Foundation registration fee.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refunds, excluding the $5 REC Foundation registration fee, will be provided if a team cancels a week or more in advance. After that, no refunds will be issued.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
