Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

9:15 AM 12:00 PM - Qualification Rounds

12:00 PM 12:30 PM - Lunch - matches pause

9:30AM - 2:30PM -  Robot Skill Challenge (closes at end of qualification rounds)

12:30 PM - 2:30 PM - Complete Qualification Rounds

2:45 PM 3:15 PM Alliance Selection

3:15 PM 3:30 PM Alliance Strategy Meeting

3:30 PM 5:30 PM Alliance Elimination matches

5:30 PM Awards and Closing Ceremony

 

There will be concessions for Saturday lunch and a coaches/volunteer hospitality room

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of cancellation we will fully refund teams minus the robot events fee.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  We will fully refund fees minus the robot event fees

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Fully refunded if withdrawin prior to Dec 4, 2024.

After only half refund.

 

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline is 5pm Dec  4, 2024.
