Welcome to the 2024 Sahuaro V5RC Qualifier!  We are looking forward to hosting an exciting day of VEX Robotics competitions.The event is in the McConnell Gym. Parking is in the main parking lot off of Camino Seco Blvd.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

8:30 -> 10:00    Practice and Skills open after passing inspection
9:45 -> 10:00    Drivers Meeting – Opening Ceremonies
10:15 -> 12:15  Qualifications, skills challenges and Robot Design Judging
12:15 -> 1:00    Lunch
1:10 -> 2:45      Qualifications, skills challenges, and judging continues
3:00 -> 3:30      Alliance Selection
3:30 -> 4:30     Eliminations - Finals
4:30 -> 5:00     Closing Ceremonies/Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

As this is the Tucson, and the tournament is inside, it is rain or shine.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

The fees will be refunded, excluding the $5 fee that RobotEvents keeps.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

The fee is non-refundable.

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
