Volunteer

Volunteering is encouraged.  We'll need everything from check-in, queueing, inspection, scoring, referees, and judges.  Training will be provided for all roles, so don't be shy!

We need your help to make this a positive and rewarding experience for the students!

  • Helping is easy and fun! Don't worry, we will show you what to do! Working the event is more fun and interesting than sitting around waiting for your student's next match!
  • Have you wondered what an Excellence-quality Engineering Notebook looks like?  Then volunteer to be a Judge -- having this experience will give your students a big advantage in their next event!  Judge volunteers should contact us at least three weeks in advance.
  • Volunteers should contact us with your preference. We will reply ASAP, and thanks in advance!!
  • There are lots of different roles that need to be filled, visit volunteer roles for an overview.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, we will make every attempt to reschedule the affected session.  Note that if a session is rescheduled, a change in venue for the new date may occur.  Emergency procedures will follow those of the venue.
