Welcome to FarmersvilleISD Robotics Farm Fresh VRC Blended Monday Tournament.

Digital Engineering Notebooks - Due by Friday January 10 midnight.

Monday January 13

Doors open at  7:30AM

Registration 8:00AM

 

Payments need to be made 3 days prior to the competition start.

Please contact us if teams are arriving late or not able to show up on the day of the event.

Tournament Information:

We will have two elevated competition fields using smart field controllers.

 

Food

  • Concessions for snacks and drinks will be available

  • You may bring your own food into the venue.

 

Volunteer

We welcome volunteers for any positions that you feel are a great fit. For example - registration, score keeping, queuing, score keeping, referees, judges, etc.

 

Judging Format: Digital Engineering Notebooks - Due by Friday January 10 midnight.

Inperson interviews on day of event.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Monday
7:30AM - 8:30AM teams will be registering and going through inspections. 
8:40AM - 9:15AM driver meeting and opening statements
9:30AM Qualification rounds will begin.
12:00AM-1:00PM lunch
1:00PM - 2:30PM complete qualification rounds
2:35PM-3:00PM alliance selections
3:00PM - 4:00PM alliance elimination matches
4:00PM - 4:20PM Awards and closing ceremony

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible event cancellations, please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency.  Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving).

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Reschedule the event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds. Trophies, volunteer food, and many other expenses have already been spent to put on the event.

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
  • Engineering Notebook Due Friday November 29.
