Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

All posted match times are approximate, and we will strive to run the event as efficiently as possible, on time, and we will allow matches to get ahead of the posted times if we are able.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status as needed in the General description. Mentors/coaches on the contact list will also recieve an email with event status updates as well.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued in the case of an event cancellation (less a $5 processing fee).

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Please only register robot teams that intend to attend. Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for any other reason.

Payment Deadline is Saturday, March 1st, 2025. Not paying by this date may mean that your team may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Deadline for note book submission is Friday Feburary 28th by 11:59 pm
