General Info
Trevecca Nazarene University welcomes you to our Second Annual Vex Robotics Tournament.
- The event will be open to at least 34 high school Tennessee VRC teams.
- Add your team(s) to the wailist if the event is full. You will be notified if a spot opens.
- Skills and in-person judging are available to all registered teams.
- The competition will be held in Boone Convocation Center, marked as"1" on the campus map here: https://www.trevecca.edu/hubfs/Resources/CampusMap-03-2022_final.pdf
- All available parking spots near Boone are open to visitors (see map). Registration will be in the main foyer of the Boone building.
- Additional information will be provided as the event date nears.
VEX Liability Release Form
- Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form ONLINE before the tournament.
- Paper forms will not be accepted.

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

- 7:00-9:00 AM - Event Check-In/Registration/Inspections
- Teams must be in line before 8:45 AM to be inspected
- LATE Arrivals - Teams must contact the EP if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event
- 8:00-9:00 AM Skills fields open for inspected teams
- 9:00-9:30 AM Drive team meeting with Head Referee
- 9:45 AM-12:00 PM Qualification matches
- 12:00-1:30 PM Lunch break
Skills will be open during the lunch break - 9:30 AM-3:00 PM Skills field open
- 1:30-3:30 PM Complete remaining qualification matches
- 3:45 PM Alliance selections
- 4:00-5:00 PM Elimination matches
- 5:15 PM Awards ceremony
Volunteer
- No prior experience necessary to volunteer. Training will be provided Saturday morning.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
All registered teams will be notified if weather impacts the event schedule. Weather updates will be posted online as the Tournament date nears.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
- All teams will be refunded.
- Any refund will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by RobotEvents.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- Refunds will not be issued for teams that register but choose not to come.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
