General Info

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • The Judging Format will be Remote Engineering Notebooks/In-Person Interviews for this event. All engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally via RobotEvents by Monday, January 13th, at 11:59PM to be reviewed by judges. 
  • We will be using Smart Field Control to connect to fields! Please ensure your team has set up their robot to connect to our fields following the instructions available here.
  • Dates - Saturday, 1/18 from 8:00AM to 3:00PM
    Location - Springs Studiof or Academic Excellence/Pikes Peak Early College "The Campus" - 6113 Constitution Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80915
  • Dinner will be provided for participants. Bringing outside food is allowed, but be aware we are a nut-free building (we recommend all teams bring drinks and snacks for the day).

Volunteer

Greetings!

We're thrilled to announce that The Campus will host several live robotics tournaments in 2024-2025! 
To make these tournaments a success, we need your help! We're seeking volunteers for various roles, including:

1. General event support
2. Judges (professionals in engineering, design, or technical trades)
3. Head Referee (20+, VEX certification required) or Judge Advisor (18+, VEX certification required)

Whether you're a parent supporting your student, a sibling interested in robotics, or a community member wanting to contribute, there's a place for you on our team.

If you'd like to volunteer, please follow these steps:

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of emergency or cancelation due to weather, a full refund minus $5 will be issued. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 
A full refund will be issued, minus $5 per registration.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
 Partial ($30) entry fee is refundable up to 72 hours of the event.

Health and Safety Policies

While you are encouraged to bring your own snacks be aware the Campus is a nut free building.

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline for engineering notebook is November 12 at 11:59PM.
