General Info
Welcome to the second anual Culver Academies VRC Blended State Qualifier! We are thrilled to gather some of the brightest young minds and aspiring engineers from across the region for a day of innovation, collaboration, and friendly competition. This event not only showcases the remarkable talents of our future technologists but also fosters a spirit of creativity and problem-solving. As we embark on this exciting journey of robot design and strategic thinking, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, mentors, and supporters who have made this tournament a reality.
We will be hosting the event in the Steinbrenner Recreation Center (building 64 on this map). Concessions will be open throughout the day and lunch will be available in our dining hall (building 32). Lunch tickets will be available for sale for $5 per person. Our dining hall provides an all-you-can-eat hotline, salad bar, and sandwich bar. Additional information about concessions and lunch will be shared through email approximately 2 weeks prior to the tournament.

9:45 am - 12:00 pm: Morning Qualification Matchers (skills fields open)
12:00 pm-1:00 pm: Lunch Break (skills fields will remain open)
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Afternoon Qualification Matchers
3:30 pm: Alliance Selection (skills fields closed)
4:00 pm: Elimination Rounds
5:00 pm: Finals and Awards
5:15 pm: Pack up and Depart

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com. We will post updates about the event status as needed in the General description.
Coaches will be notified by email in the event of a cancellation.

Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: A full refund will be given minus the $5 team fee.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be given.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges during team check-in. No digital notebooks will be accepted.
