General Info

The Kings School and Sydney Robotics Academy present the MS V5RC High Stakes Tournament.

This event will be hosted by The Kings School in North Parramatta, NSW, Australia.

The Event will be located in the Science Center.

Due to limited space, we will ask that each organisation limits the number of coaches to 1 per two teams registered.

Please ensure that everyone attending brings a packed lunch as there will not be food available for purchase nearby the venue.

Entry is located on Pennant Hills Rd, enter The Kings School at the traffic light intersection with Russel Rd/Hunterford Cr.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Due to limited space, organisations will be limited to 1 coach per 2 teams.

Preliminary Schedule:

8:00AM - Doors open for pits, check in and inspection

8:30AM - Coaches meeting

8:45AM - Team briefing

9:15AM - Inspection closes and Qualification matches begin

12:30PM - Lunch

1:00PM - Qualification matches resume

3:00PM - Finish Qualification matches, alliance selection begins

3:30PM - Elimination Matches begin

4:00PM - Closing ceremony

4:30PM - Packup

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of extreme weather conditions the event will be cancelled. Organisers will do their best to give advance notice where possible.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Cancellations with less than 10 days notice will forfeit the registration fee.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
