General Info
All approved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices. Event Partners should continually assess, based on current government guidelines, whether to postpone, cancel, or significantly reduce the number of attendees when necessary.
Thanks for registering for the White House 9th Annual VEX Winter Tournament! The event will take place Saturday with qualification in the morning and the tournament and awards Saturday afternoon. Friday is an optional check-in and teams can run skills at this time as well. We will contact you closer to the event with more details including directions, school maps, times, and food options. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form.

Volunteer
Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. Please email [email protected] to sign up. Volunteers will receive any training necessary, a volunteer t-shirt, and a full day of inspiration working with incredibly talented youth.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event:
- Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by White House High School. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events for processing.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come.

Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
