All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

8:00 Inspection begins (separate hardware and software lines).
8:15 Skills field opens
8:45 Check in closes, teams must have started inspection. Deadline for submitting notebooks for judging.
9:00 Inspection closes, driver meeting.

Check-In:
Check-in ends at 8:45 am SHARP so we can generate the match list. If you are running into travel issues and will not arrive by 8:30 am, please call or text 925-822-8007. Teams who do not meet the check-in deadline will not be included in the match list.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Teams will be notified of cancellations/schedule alterations as soon as possible. Please contact Amanda Murphy ([email protected] or 925-822-8007) if you have specific questions or concerns.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
- Registration funds will be returned minus processing fees collected by the REC Foundation.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- No refunds or withdrawals will be given after the Registration Deadline. All cancellations/refunds requested before the Registration Deadline will be honored, minus $5 processing fee collected by the REC Foundation.
