General Info

Welcome to the 2025 Nebraska State V5RC Championship - Middle School!

This is Nebraska's State Championship for V5RC Middle School teams.

Qualification: Teams will be sent an invite through RobotEvents as they qualify at events throughout the season. A team must have posted a skills score -OR- have competed in a qualifying event in the current season to be eligible for an Event Region Championship invitation.

As the Championship nears, coaches please watch for additional information via email.  All the most up-to-date information regarding food, reminders, etc. will be published here on RobotEvents for teams and families.

Registration Fee: All teams must have the registration fee paid prior to attending the State Championship.

Museum Admissions: Students and spectators will get into SAC Museum for free to attend the State Championship!

Competition Preparation: Teams should come prepared to compete.  Review the High Stakes Game Manual, run through the Robot Inspection Checklist, and ensure your team is running the latest programming and firmware version and your Robot Brain has your team number.  We will be using the Smart Field Control.

Please note: We will be following an all in-person judging format.  Only physical copies of engineering notebooks will be collected during team check-in.  Teams who have digital notebooks will need to print off the most recent version for judges to review.  Judge interviews will take place in-person at the team's booth in the pit area.

Participation and Consent Form: All team members, coaches and adult mentors should fill out the online consent form which is good all season and for all RECF run events.  A link to the instructions for online consent form can be found here

Lunch & Concessions: Lunch and Concessions information will be available soon.

Elimination Matches: There will be 16 Elimination Alliances (32 Teams).  For elimination matches, per the Over Under Game Manual, "Elimination Matches are 'Best of 1' from the Round of 16 up through the Semifinals Matches.  The Finals Matches are played as 'Best of 3'".
