General Info

Invitational League

This league is sponsored by the San Joaquin County Office of Education.  All VEX teams from San Joaquin County are welcome to join the League.  If we have space available after accommodating all San Joaquin County teams, we will accept teams from outside San Joaquin County. If you want to be considered for an open spot in the league, add your team to the Waitlist at the lower left.

AM & PM Leagues

We have two Delta Leagues meeting on the same dates: an AM league and a PM league.  The AM league meets in the mornings, 7:30-11:30 AM.  The PM league meets in the afternoons, 12:00-4:00 pm.  This is the AM league - if you want the PM league, go to that league's Robot Events page.

League Meets

Scrimmage: The meet on 9/21 is a practice session - bring whatever robot you have and try it out on the field in unofficial practice matches.  If you don't have a robot yet, come watch others and get ideas.  This meet will run from 8:30-11:30 am.

Ranking Meets: The meets on 10/5, 11/2, 12/14, and 1/11 are for Qualifying Rounds.  Match results will go into the League Rankings, which will be cumulative over all four meets.  To allow more teams to play in the league, each team will play in 3 ranking meets according to one of these schedules:
Schedule A: 10/5, 11/2, 12/14
Schedule B: 10/5, 11/2, 1/11
Schedule C: 10/5, 12/14, 1./11
Schedule D: 11/2, 12/14, 1/11
6 teams will be assigned to each schedule, first come, first served.  You will select your team's schedule when you register.

League Finals: The meet on 2/1 is for Skills Challenges, Judging, Alliance Selection and the Elimination Rounds.  Awards will be given at the end of this meet.

Team Expectations

1. Teams must always be accompanied by the team Advisor or a designated adult at any League event.
3. Teams will check within 45 minutes of the doors opening. Teams must contact the Event Partner if they are running late or they will be left out of the match schedule for that meet.  Teams will stay for the whole event once checked in.
4. The League is a friendly competition environment, and teams are encouraged to help other teams be successful.
5. All student participants and student visitors to a league meet must have submitted a complete Fablab Permission Form before entry to the meet.  The form covers all meets, and just needs to be submitted once at the first meet the student attends.  The form can be downloaded from the Documents section of this event page.

League Results

Results from each League meet, and cumulative results, will be posted here on our Robot Events page under the "Results" tab.
