General Info

Norwell is pleased to be hosting our 4th annual event  on December 7, 2024.  There will be concessions, subway sandwiches for purchase at lunch and plenty of spectator space. We are excited to show off our new building on campus.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

7:00am - Doors Open

7:00-8:30am - Team Registration

7:45-9:00am - Inspection / All fields open for teams to practice if they have passed inspection.

9:00-9:15am - Coaches Meeting/Drivers Meeting

9:30am - Skills Fields open / Qualification matches begin

12:00pm-12:30pm – All Fields Closed / Lunch Break

12:30-3:00pm-Resume Qualifying Matches

3:00-3:20pm - Alliance Selection Process

3:20-4:00 Elimination Rounds and Finals 

4:00-4:30pm - Awards and Closing Ceremonies

4:30pm - Pack up and depart. Have a safe trip home!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event we would need to cancel due to weather, Norwell will send out a message to all registered participants. We will attempt to reschedule the event as quickly as possible.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Norwell will reschedule the event or refund your registration fee.  

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: There will be no refund issued.  

 

Judging Format

We are excited to host our third event.  We will enter through the main middle school doors. You can enter direct from US 224 this year. Busses can unload at the main middle school doors.  There will be greeters to check you in and direct you to pits. There will be 3 lunch choices ranging from $5.00 to $8.00.  Busses can park in the back lot in front of the soccer fields the driveway is located to the left of the football field when exiting the drop off area. There will be a hospitality room for bus drivers, coaches and volunteers. Cant wait to see everyone.
