General Info

Roosevelt will hold our third annual Robotics Tournament. Please be advised that about half of our parking is under the footprint of our gym demolition project, so any carpooling that attendees could participate in would be greatly appreciated. We will hold this years event in our library, which is in the back of and on the 2nd floor of A building, which is the main building with our famous tower. 

 

We will have food and drinks availible for purchase too!

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

7:30 am: Doors open for volunteers only

8:00 am: Doors open to teams, inspection, practice open shortly after.

8:00 am: Skills Open (Skills ends as soon as the last match concludes)

8:45 am: Drivers meeting​

9:00 am: Qualification Matches begin

12:00 pm: Lunch

1:00 pm: Qualification Matches resume

2:30 pm: Skills Line Closes

2:45 pm: Qualification Matches end -Alliance Selection- Immediately after the last match concludes

3:15 pm: Elimination Matches begin

5:30 pm: Awards, and breakdown

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event has to be canceled due to bad weather, all teams will be reimbursed for the event.  Please see the refund tab for info on reimbursement.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Teams will be reimbursed for the event

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Teams will be reimbursed if they withdraw more than Two Weeks before the event.(9 November)

Health and Safety Policies

This event will follow all HIDOE COVID-19 directives.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
