General Info

This event is sponsored by Legacy Robotics and all proceeds from this event are used to sustain the our robotics program. More details will be sent in your registration email and closer to the day of the event.

On-site free wi-fi will be provided. Lunch will not be provided. There are several food options directly across the street from our school.

We hope you enjoy our event and are looking forward to hosting Southern California VEX teams once again. Thank you for helping us provide an opportunity for students to compete this season.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

7:30 am - Doors Open/Team Check-In

7:30 am to 8:45 am - Practice Field Opens - 2 teams on field for 5 mins - first come first serve

8:00 am to 9:00 am - Robot Inspection

​8:00 am - 9:00 am - First Round of Judging - Interviews at Tables/Pit Area

9:00 am - Drivers Meeting & Opening Ceremony

9:15 am - Qualifying Matches Begin

12:00 pm - Lunch

12:30 pm - Qualifying Matches Resume

2:30  pm - Qualifying Matches End

2:45 pm - Alliance Selection

3:15 pm - Elimination Rounds Begin

4:30 pm - Event Ends - Awards and Closing Ceremonies

4:30 - 5:30 pm - Clean Up

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Only in extreme circumstances will this event be canceled due to weather or Covid-19 safety precautions issued by the Tustin Unified School District. In this circumstance, refunds will be made available minus any potential costs charged by RobotEvents.com.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued minus the cost to Robot Events. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will be made available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus any potential costs charged by Robot Events. 

If teams are not withdrawn two weeks prior to the event date, refunds will not be issued.

Judging Format

​Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.

Digital notebook links must be submitted by 5:00PM PST on Sunday, October 13th to be considered for any judged awards!
