General Info

Ten Ton Robotics will host this event at West Vancouver Secondary School.

This tournament is for MS and HS VRC teams only.

There will be expectations and safety requirements to comply with any safe practices for the school, the district and the province, in effect on the day of the tournament.

9:15 - 12:15 - Skills Runs on 2 fields and Judging

12:15 - 12:45 - Lunch

12:45 - 12:55 - Drivers Meeting

1:00 - 4:00 - Qualification Matches

4:15 - 4:45 - Alliance Selection

5:00 - 6:00 - Finals

6:15 - 6:30 - Awards

6:30 - 7:00 - Tear Down and clean up.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event cannot run because of weather or other event, teams will be contacted by email and if very last minute by phone.
Please make sure you have provided us with those current emails and numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment can be submitted the day of the event. If you withdraw less than two days (Thursday, February 13th, 2025)  before the event you will still be expected to pay the registration fee.

Travel Info

The event will be held at West Vancouver Secondary School in the Tech Wing.

From  Mathers Ave, please drive down to the Staff Parking Lot. The entrance to the Parking Lot is at the West end of the main school building on Mathers Ave. After you park, the Tech Wing is the 1-storey building just East of the parking lot.

Upon arrival, when you register at the Registration Desk, you will be given your time slot for judging.

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.

Judging – Each team will have 7 minutes (on a timer) to present to judges and must sign up for a judging time slot. See the Judging Tab for details.

Each team will have 7 minutes (on a timer) to present to Judges.

Every team will be assigned a judging time between 9:15 am - 12:15 pm. Please make sure your teams know when their scheduled time is.

IMPORTANT: We will have an adequate number of time slots so that every team has the opportunity to be judged. Please arrive a few minutes early for your time slot for judging.
