General Info

Team tECH is proud to host this years VRC High Stakes.  This competition is open to all registered VRC teams. The competition will be held January 18, 2025 at East Central High School Cafeteria.

Your payments must be shown in the system as paid by January 10, 2025 in order to participate in the competition.  Please get on the waiting list if the competition has filled, or you have more than 3 teams and if any spots become available I will contact you.

Concession stand will be available. More specifics will be available closer to the event.

Please complete all team member release forms at REC Foundation as soon as possible. Once completed, you are good for the rest of the year. Information on Participant Release form and link -- https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5ab2c50d92047/web/

JUDGING:  Notebooks must be submitted digitally by noon on January 10th.  Interview will be conducted inperson.  All teams will be interviewed.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

All teams will be contacted the day before the event if the event needs to be adjusted due to bad weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

No Refunds.

All teams must be paid by January 10, 2025.

 

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
