General Info

Jackson Area Robotics along with Jackson-Madison County School System are excited to again host the Hub City Robo Rumble V5RC tournament in Jackson, TN, at Jackson State Community College. 

This early season tournament will give teams the opportunity to test their designs and gain inspiration from one another in a laid back and fun environment.

Lunch orders are due by noon on Friday, October 4. Order forms will be emailed to coaches. 

Limited concessions will be available. 

Practice fields, Skills, and Inspection will be open on Friday afternoon for teams willing to help with set up.

Payment is due two weeks after a team is registered or immediately if after September 16, 2024, unless other arrangements are made with the EP.  All teams not paid after two weeks of registration will be moved to the waitlist and may be added back in, IF there is still room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two week, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Please consider joining us for a day of exhausting, but rewarding, fun.

Since one of our goals is to bring as many people from the Jackson and West TN area on board this adventure as possible, several roles are already filled. However, we can always use eager and experienced hands.

Please note that several roles will require training in advance. 

Friday afternoon set up begins at 11:00 am and will continue throughout the evening. Teams/volunteeers willing to help will recieve early access to pit set up, practice fields, Skills, and Inspection.

Full day Saturday volunteers will recieve breakfast, lunch, snacks, and all the coffee you can drink.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that an emergency arises or inclement weather threatens to affect the tournament, email notifications will be sent. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued if event is cancelled by EP. Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee collected by Robot Events.

If a Team completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

As a general rule, refunds will NOT be issued. However, we understand that unforseen circumstances come up. Please contact us as partial refund may be possible if your spot can be filled by another team.
