General Info

Welcome to the second annual RoboFest Fall Tournament. This is a single-day event with Skills and Judging.  

In an effort to start on time, we need all teams checked in no later than 8:00 in the morning, and inspected no later than 8:20. Those teams not checked in and inspected by those times will be dropped from competition for the entire day of the event without refund of registration fees. Should you be stuck in traffic or have issues in transit, please call Dusty Wittman at (661) 631-4526 or Lisa Elisondo at (661) 631-4779.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

6:30 am: Doors Open for Volunteers

7:30 am: Team Arrivals / Pit Open Team Check-In and Registration, Practice Field Opens, Inspection Table Opens

8:00 am: All Teams MUST be Checked-in. 

8:20 am: All Teams Must be Inspected.  

8:40 am: Team Meeting

8:55 am: Opening Ceremony – Please stop work on robots during this time

9:00 am: Qualification matches begin 

11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Lunch Break

12:00 pm: Qualification matches resume

2:00 pm - 3:00pm: Alliance selection, Final matches

3:00 pm: Awards

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

There will be no refunds due to fixed costs associated with this event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
