Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

All matches, skills and qualifications, will take place on raised platforms (Worlds standards).

7:00 a.m.:  Doors Open

7:15 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.: Registration, Check-in and Inspection

8:30 a.m.: Skills Challenge Opens

10:30 a.m.: Skills Challenge Closes

10:40 a.m.: Drivers and Coaches meeting

10:50 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.: Qualifications Start 

12:50 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch

1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: Qualifications Continue 

3:40 p.m.: Alliance Selection

4:00 p.m.: Elimination Matches

5:20 p.m.: Awards

6:00 p.m.: Door close

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will always follow the advice of the state's emergency management service.  In the event of a weather event, the tournament will be cancelled.  In the event the tournament is cancelled, refunds will be given. Cancellation will be communicated no later than 24 hours before doors open.

Refund and Payment Policies

If your team has been moved to the "Registred teams" list, then you must log into your robotevents.com account. Click on "My Account" and under the tab "My Orders" on the left you will find the bill for your team. Please complete the payment process. If you have multiple teams, you must complete a payment for each team individually.

No refunds will be given to teams that do not show up.

Refunds will only be given if we cancel the event. The refund amount will be $75.  Finally, refunds will not be issued until after the event and all payments have been received from RobotEvents.com.

Judging Format

• Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.
• Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Deadline: Tuesday, Feb 18, 11:59 p.m.
