General Info

This is the 7th annual NorCal Signature High School Event.

This event will be a qualifying event for the VEX Robotics World Championships. We look forward to your participation!

This event for high school teams will run for 3 days: Opening on Friday evening (with optional Inspection and Skills), qualifying and skills matches on Saturday, and remaining qualifying matches, followed by playoffs and elimination matches on Sunday afternoon. We plan to have each team participate in 9-10 qualifying matches.

We strive to conduct the event safely. Please ensure you have read the Health and Safety Policies, for your own safety and others at the event.  We will update the travel section to provide information on discounted hotel rates as soon as we have it. We will be updating this section periodically with additional information on things to do. We will be adding more hotels to this page soon.  We have also made a lot of arrangements to have a fun and safe event for everyone.

Discounted Hotels:  Please see the travel section to see the exclusive discounted rates we are offering for teams travelling to the signature event. We will update this section when we have more information.

No pre-qualification requirements to register for the event. If you have financial difficulty please send us an email and we will support you on a case-by-case basis.

Since this is a REC Foundation Signature Event, we are required to have a certain number of teams registered from outside of California for this Signature Event. For those coming from out of state, please let us know if you need any financial assistance - we may waive the registration fee. Please contact the event partner first for more information.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Event partner(s) will try their best to issue full refunds (minus the $5 processing fee charged by Robot Events) in the event of an unforeseen cancellation.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Registrations will not be refunded for teams that registered but did not attend. If there are teams on the waiting list that can backfill vacated spots, and if you let us know at least five weeks before the event date.
