Judging Format
Judging Process
Again.......*We remind all teams to submit their digital engineering notebooks to facilitate our judging process.
We will use digital engineering notebooks for review during this judging process, and please upload them in accordance with official regulations.
On the day of the competition, we will conduct it face-to-face, IN-PERSON. We will not collect physical engineering notebooks on the FIRST day, but each team can bring their own engineering notebooks as a presentation tool during the interview.
If the team does not upload the digital engineering notebook, it will be deemed that the engineering notebook has not been submitted and cannot be paid back on the day of registration.
According to official rules, the choice of judging format for the event rests with the Event Partner. Detailed information about judging should be found on the event page on RobotEvents. All teams at the event must submit their notebooks in the same format, regardless of their notebook's native format. A team with a physical engineering notebook will need to upload a link to a digital copy via RobotEvents, or conversely, a team with a digital engineering notebook may be asked to print it out prior to the event.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The deadline is: December 9th.
