Battle by the Beach

Battle by the Beach is a 4th year Signature Event! We will be housed at the in the Main, at Texas A&M Galveston. We offer insight into the Maritime engineering programs on campus. A&M offers a robust curriculum ideal for current robotics students.  From Computer Science to Maritime Engineering the possibilities are endless.  Come take a peek at one of the most unique campuses.  Teams will enjoy driving up and seeing the dolphins jump and the Kennedy at the dock. Col. Fossum, the former American Astronaut and president of the University always wins over the students with his inspirational speeches.  If you are looking to inspire your students to continue their polished skills to the University level this event is a MUST!

Day one- Team check-in and inspections. Skills runs and Explorations. Come check out all the campus has to offer. From underwater robotics demos to the Amazing Ship simulators. Students can try their hand at navigating a ship through a CAT 3 Hurricane in the Port.

Day  Two:  Skills runs and Qualification matches.

Day Three: Conclusion of skills & qualifying matches. Finals and awards

As requested by popular demand, the pits will all be located in the MAIN. The only walking will be exploring the ship simulators and demos offered on Day 1.

Custom trophies will still be implemented, and if needed, contact information can be shared to order duplicates for the whole team. Pins will also be back again!

Referees will be all World Championship referees or former World Championship winners- They know their stuff- so your teams will have a quality experience.
