General Info

Welcome to the first V5RC League in Ontario!  This is a league with 3 ranking dates, and one final competition date in February.  Total number of teams is 16, with 12 (min.) taking part during each ranking date. Scheduling TBD. Each team attends 2 out of the 3 ranking sessions.

Both 2 vs. 2 and Skills rounds will be available on each of the ranking dates.  Ranking dates will all be on Tuesdays and run from 8:00am until 2pm. Alliance selection will take place on the final date in February when a League champion will be awarded along with the range of awards and berth to the V5RC Provincial Championships.

Agenda

  • 8:00 Doors open
  • 8:15-8:45 Check in / inspections open / Practice on (2) competition fields
  • 8:45-9:00 Practice closed / Drivers meeting
  • 9:00-12:00 (3-4) Qualifying/ranking matches per team
  • 12:00-12:30 lunch - Fields open for practice.
  • 12:30-2:00 Drivers skills one field 1, Autonamous skills on field 2 - Sign up for scheduled time slots at time of check in.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams are advised to watch robotevents.com for weather or emergency related cancellations. If the tournament must be cancelled or postponed the name of the tournament will change to "Cancelled" or "Postponed". In the event of a cancellation or postponement teams will be sent additional information to their contact person via email.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Once a team has paid the registration fee, no refunds will be given

Teams have 2 weeks after registration to pay for this event. unpaid teams will be moved to the waiting list. Unpaid registrations can only hold a team's spot at this event for 2 weeks.

Judging Format

  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline is December 17th 11:59pm.
