Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

7:30-9:00-Teams Arrive

Teams arrive using the front main entrance of the school. 

8:00-10:00- Inspection and skills are open as soon as teams arrive.  Teams can run skills on the competition field(s) until opening ceremonies.

10:00- (approximately) Welcome remarks and drivers meeting.

10:15- Qualification matches begin

1:00- Lunch. Continue Skills on competition field(s) if needed.

2:00- Elimination matches begin

3:30 - Awards


4:00- Clean-up and departure

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In-case of bad weather we will contact you in advance. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 5$ will be kept to cover fees.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: After February 14th no refund will be granted. If canceled prior to February 14th, a 50% refund will be provided.

 

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges
