General Info
Samoset Elementary is hosting the 3rd Annual Samoset Matchup VEX IQ Rapid Relay tournament. This event will be held at Haile Middle School, 9501 State Road 64 E, Bradenton, FL 34212. The Samoset Matchup is an elementary school-only tournament. Specific award winners will qualify for the State championship.
All participants are expected to complete the participant release form (also available in Spanish). Once per season covers all events.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Event will take place rain or shine, unless we have a weather event where the school district closes schools.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the EP cancels we will reschedule or issue refunds minus the $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is non-refundable. If a coach cancels you will not receive a refund unless you spot can be filled and that refund, if issued, is minus the $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is non-refundable.
Health and Safety Policies
- Only the team members and one adult, in addition to the team coach, is allowed at the table at any time during the event.
- Skills runs will be scheduled prior to alliance matches.

Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date. Digital notebooks MUST be submitted no later than 4:00pm on Friday, January 17th, 2025.
