General Info

Main fields:  There will be 3 main fields and 2 practice fields.  The qualification & finals matches AND all of the skills attempts will be run on those 3 main fields.  

Skills:  VEX IQ:  Robot Skills = Driver Skills + Programming Skills.  For this event: each team will be allowed to make a total of 6 skills attempts (3 Driver and 3 Programming skills).

Notebooks: Bring your physical notebooks to the competition and submit at check in

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of any emergency or bad weather, we will post updates to Robot Events and email coaches. 

If your arrival will be delayed, please email [email protected] with your team number, and we will do our best to accommodate you. 

 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued in the case of an event cancellation (minus the $5 processing fee)

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  Refund will not be given

If a robot does not pass inspection and the team is unable to compete, NO refund will be given.  The inspection requirements are clearly documented.  Teams should know their robot will pass inspection before arriving.  

Payment should be received within two weeks of registration. Teams registered within a month of the event should pay upon registration. Teams who do not meet the payment deadlines will be moved to the waitlist. 

 

 
 

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.
  • Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit at check in
