7:45am – 9:00am Robot Inspection
9:00am – Coaches’ Meeting (Adult)
9:00am – Team Briefing (including Driver’s meeting)
9:30am – Start Qualification Matches
12:45pm – Finish Qualification Matches
12:45-1:15pm – Lunch
1:15pm - Playoff Matches
1:50pm – Closing ceremony
2:10pm - Pack up (All teams must be offsite before the School car lines commence at 2:30)

We invite you to join our team of dedicated volunteers for the 2025-26 Knox VEX IQ Robotics Competition Mix & Match Tournament! Volunteers are essential to creating a positive, fun, and fair experience for all participants. Whether you’re a robotics enthusiast, educator, parent, student, or community member, your contribution makes a real difference.

Volunteer Roles
We offer a variety of roles to suit different interests and experience levels, including:

Judges: Evaluate team interviews and engineering notebooks, providing constructive feedback.

Referees: Ensure matches are played fairly according to official rules.

Scorekeepers: Record and manage match results.

Field Reset Crew: Help reset the field between matches for smooth event flow.

Pit Admin: Assist teams in the pit area and provide information.

Check-In/Registration: Welcome teams and volunteers, confirm attendance.

General Event Support: Lend a hand wherever needed—set up, pack down, and more!
Full training and support will be provided for all roles.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions the event will be cancelled. Organisers will do their best to give advance notice where possible.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Cancellations with less than 10 days notice will forfeit the registration fee.
Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
- The Engineering Notebook link submission deadline is 7 days before, students may continue to work on their Digital Engineering Notebook up until the morning of the event.
