General Info
Please join us for VEX VIQC Rapid Relay Tournament at NEAAAT! This is a VEX IQ tournament for Middle School teams and will qualify teams for the State Championship.
We will have 1-2 fields available in the morning to practice but we will switch them to competition fields once the tournament starts. Once the tournament starts, skills runs will no longer be available. It is advised that teams bring their own fields to practice on.
This event is tentative and is subject to cancellation by the school and/or district due weather or any other district/school closures.
No outside food or drink is allowed into the event. Concessions will be available for purchase in the concession area.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, teams will be informed and a refund will be issued, minus the $5 RECF fee.
Refund and Payment Policies
No refunds unless the tournament is cancelled because of weather or COVID restrictions in Elizabeth City. In the event of cancellation due to these reasons refund will only be $70, less the $5 processing fee the REC Foundation charges for each registrant, and to cover expenses incured leading up to the event.
Unpaid teams will be put on the waitlist two weeks before the event, unless payment has been worked out via email with the EP Kimberly Mawhiney.
Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
