General Info

This is an invitational event, open only to teams that have not yet qualified for the UK National Championship. Teams that have already qualified for Nationals and sign up for this event will be removed

VEX IQ City of London Regional is held at the City of London School for Girls.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

The Coach/Mentor should follow the REC foundation rules on withdrawing and changing teams. If the choses to withdraw, for any reason, after the registration end date, the Event Partner should be contacted as soon as possible to allow them time to offer the spot to a team on the waiting list.

Travel Info

Please note that the City of London School for Girls is located in Central London and Congestion Charge and ULEZ charges will apply if arriving by vehicle. 

Wood Street has limited paid street parking.

If travelling by tube/train, the closest station is Moorgate (Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City, Circle and Elizabeth Line; and serves Great Northern Railway ) with step-free access, and a 5 minute walk via Fore Street to CLSG.

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will be judged in-person the day of the event.

 In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.

Teams should submit their engineering notebook digitally if they wish to be considered for all judged awards. If the Engineering  Notebook is submitted digitally for evaluation  then a should be done via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline will be the closing date for the event registration.
