League events will be held in the pool mezzanine of the Deforest Area High School pool, where the HS and MS teams practice. Light concessions will be served.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

3:30-4:00 pm: Arrival, set-up and practice

4:00-6:00 pm: Skills field open

4:00-6:15 pm: Teamwork Matches

6:15-6:30 pm: Closing, clean-up

Volunteer

Please email [email protected] for volunteer opportunities. We will need queing help, referees, scorers, computer operators, and concession sales. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

League events will only be cancelled in the event that the DASD schools have cancelled school or afterschool activities. Events that are cancelled will be rescheduled. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

All refunds will be made in 7-10 business days.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Partial refunds (50%) will be given up until 7 days of the event. 

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
